Our physicians are board certified ophthalmologists who have received subspecialty training in vitreo-retinal disease and surgery at the country's leading institutions. They are actively involved in the medical and surgical education of resident doctors in the ophthalmology training programs throughout the New York area.

Both Dr. Bodine and Dr. Mango have extensive experience in treating common retinal problems duch as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration. They also have specific training in management of retinal detachment repair, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, vitritis, and many other posterior segment disorders.

Steven Bodine, MD

 

Charles W. Mango, MD

Dr. Bodine is a board certified ophthalmologist trained at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He has completed a two year additional fellowship in vitreo-retinal disease and surgery at the Schepens Research Institute and the Massachussets Eye and Ear Infirmary - Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Bodine has a teaching position at Albert Einstein College of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology where he enjoys teaching the residents.

Dr. Bodine enjoys bicycling and skiing during his free time.

 

Dr. Mango is a board certified ophthalmologist trained at Cornell University - New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. He has completed a two year additional fellowship in vitreo-retinal disease and surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute - University of California Los Angeles.

Dr. Mango has a teaching position at Cornell University - New York Presbyterinan Hospital as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology where he enjoys teaching the residents and fellows.

Dr. Mango enjoys hiking around the new york area in summer and snowboarding in the winter months.
