Dr. Charles W. Mango is a board-certified ophthalmologist trained at Cornell University - New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. He has completed a two year fellowship in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute - University of California Los Angeles.


Dr. Mango has a teaching position at Cornell University - New York Presbyterian Hospital as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology where he enjoys teaching the resident and fellow physicians.


Dr. Mango has published in major scientific journals and is actively involved in scientific research projects and clinical trials.  He has authored multiple textbook chapters and is currently a section editor of the Retina Times, the official publication of the American Society of Retina Specialists.


Dr. Mango enjoys hiking, skiing, and traveling in his free time.
